International television signals in “picture and sound” and the international radio signals to be produced by the OBO. The ITVR signals will consist of a live television picture in the local television standard in conformity with the relevant ITU specifications and the necessary related background sound and effects (international television sound). The international radio (sound) signal to be produced by the OBO will consist of a general background sound signal (international sound) which will be delivered independently of the international television sound signal. It must begin at least 30 minutes before the event and end not less than 30 minutes after.
